The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production process to ensure our manufacturing and packaging operations meet quality standards.
The Production Supervisor is a key member of the management team and will be responsible for making sure the Company meets its production targets and operates efficiently.
This position is being offered 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM, Monday - Friday, with required training on 1st Shift.
Based out of our Monroe Township, NJ facility, this position is onsite five days per week.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
- Responsible for creating production plans and schedules, determining production goals, and ensuring the team has the resources to meet production targets.
- Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
- Trains employees in company policies and procedures, and in the proper and safe use of equipment and tools.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising production staff, including identifying staffing needs and ensuring that the team has skills and resources they need to succeed.
- Documents and reports production and personnel data as required.
- Identify areas for improvement to continually optimize the production process to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
- Make recommendations to improve operations and efficiency and reduce cost.
- Ensures production processes meets quality standards, identifying and resolving production problems, and implementing improvements to the production process.
- Stays up to date on new processes, equipment, and industry practices.
- Performs other duties as required.
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 4 plus years of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment.
- Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
- Demonstrate strong management skills, drive, and a willingness to “roll up their sleeves” to get the job done.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Effective team building skills, proven ability to deliver results, strong ability to multi-task andnprioritize, and the ability to effectively manage conflict, and maintain strong employee relations.
- Effective PC skills required (Microsoft Office)
- Should expect to be highly visible on the production floor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evening, and/or weekends.
- Bilingual – English/Spanish a plus.
