Our Dog and Cat business unit is searching for a Marketplace Operations Specialist to support our e-commerce growth across our range of marketplaces. This Specialist will support our expansion of the Nylabone, Cadet, Four Paws, Best Bully Sticks, Paw Love and Barkworthies brands into new channels as well as our current business by assisting with regular reporting, order flow, inventory management and digital shelf growth.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Logistics and Distribution, the Marketplace Operations Specialist will help manage inventory movement between our own warehouse and various marketplaces. The ideal candidate will have experience with Fulfilled by Amazon and Walmart Fulfillment Services, warehouse operations, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, excellent communication skills, and diligent attention to detail. Position will be in Jamesburg, NJ on-site five days per week.
MEASURES OF SUCCESS:
- Coordinate communication between the E-commerce Sales team, S&OP and Operations Warehouse team
- Create shipments in Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Seller Center
- Document and share shipment information across teams
- Create and print all outbound labels
- Track and troubleshoot in transit shipments to ensure inventory is regularly available
- Maintain database and documentation of all shipments
- Enter transfers into ERP system and ensure inventory is flowing through locations correctly
- Follow up on outstanding shipments and open issues
- Coordinate with the Warehouse and E-commerce teams to meet shipment timelines
- Coordinate with Shipping department to ensure all orders are picked up timely or coordinate internally if not
- Coordinate with inventory control and customers regarding any shortages or inventory reconciliation
- Ensure process flow between teams is efficient/clearly communicated; drive process improvements that facilitate ease
- Main point of contact cross-functionally for all direct-to-consumer customer channel orders
- Support with weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting needs
IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES:
- 1+ years’ experience in e-Commerce with prior experience supporting Amazon Seller Central
- 2+ years’ experience in logistics/shipping with prior experience with LTL/FTL shipments
- Experience with Walmart Marketplace preferred
- Strong understanding of e-commerce marketplaces, particularly Amazon and Walmart
- Experience with inventory management and complex case resolution
- Ability to learn new tools and technology to support the business
- Ability to work cross-functionally with strong communication (both written and verbal) skills
- Intellectual curiosity and thirst for innovation and success
- Highly organized, accurate, quick learner, proactive and have a positive attitude
